Highlights of the Lewis & Clark River Otters defeating the Puget Sound Loggers.

The L&C River Otters took on the PSU Loggers for their first match up of the season in a non-conference game. The Otters jumped out to an early lead before the loggers rolled their way back into a one score game, but a combination of clutch plays on both side of the ball led to a 42-21 final score for the Otters.

Lewis & Clark Pioneers Vs University of Puget Sound Loggers 02Sept23 @ Bakers Field, Tacoma, WA

I was invited to come enjoy a game between the Lewis & Clark Pioneers and University of Puget Sound Loggers. On the Pioneers team a player that I use to coach in youth football in my second season coaching in 2013, #41 Wade Bowman as playing and his parents contacted me and told me about the game. So the wife and I attended a thrilling game that went back and forth and that showed a bunch of grit, it went down tot he wire to where the team trailing, the Pioneers could try and mount a come back. With just a finger tip length the Pioneer wide receiver could not haul in a long pass as they go 4 and out and the Loggers lined up in victory formation and was able to run out the clock! Enjoy the match up!
