Oregon State expects corners Jaden Robinson, Noble Thomas for Sun Bowl, left tackle Joshua Gray out

The Beaver defense is largely intact for the Sun Bowl, but the offense will have many changes

Oregon State offensive lineman Joshua Gray, who started 44 consecutive games at left tackle before missing the 2023 regular season finale at Oregon with a foot injury, will miss the Sun Bowl.AP

Oregon State’s Sun Bowl roster is beginning to take shape as NCAA transfer portal defections, NFL Draft opt outs and injury setbacks have slowed.

Aside from seven Beavers who have entered the transfer portal and two others who are skipping the bowl to prep for the draft, Oregon State will be without Joshua Gray. The four-year starting left tackle has a foot injury that will knock him out of the Dec. 29 game against Notre Dame in El Paso, Texas.
