Three Oregon State football players win Pac-12 awards
Three Oregon State football players were recognized by the Pac-12 Conference on Monday for their performances in the win over UCLA:
Cooper made the play of the game Saturday, returning an interception 67 yards for a touchdown to help the Beavers pull away in the first half. He is the first Oregon State player to win the defensive player of the week award this season.
Lolohea had 10 tackles against UCLA. The last time an OSU defensive lineman had 10 or more tackles was Scott Crichton in 2011 against Oregon. Lolohea has 30 tackles this season, fifth-most on the team, including 8.5 tackles for a loss.

Fuaga helped pave the way for an Oregon State offense which gained more than 400 yards against UCLA. The right tackle was the No. 3 overall graded offensive lineman this week by Pro Football Focus and he is the nation’s top graded lineman by PFF this season both overall and for run blocking.
Fuaga is the third Oregon State offensive lineman to receive the award this season, joining teammates Joshua Gray (a two-time winner) and Tanner Miller.
Pac-12 in AP poll
Six Pac-12 teams are ranked in this week’s Associated Press poll with Washington (6-0) leading the way in the fifth spot. Oregon (5-1) is ranked ninth, Oregon State (6-1) is 12th, Utah (5-1) is 14th, USC (6-1) is 18th and UCLA (4-2) is 25th.
Oregon State’s ranking is its highest since the 2012 season, when the Beavers climbed as high No. 7.
Game time set
After the bye week, Oregon State will travel to play Arizona at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
The Wildcats went 5-7, 3-6 Pac-12 last season but have been much more competitive this year with a triple-overtime loss at USC and a rout of Washington State.
