CALGARY – Canadian Football League awards have been in existence for an extremely long time. The University of Calgary Dinos have had numerous excellent players be their respective team nominees for these awards. They also have had numerous former players be finalists for these individual awards. It was not until this year that they had a former player win one of the regular-season individual awards.
