DILLON, Mont. – UMW Football has promotedTristin Rodriguezto a full-time assistant coach, head coachRyan Nourseannounced Tuesday. Rodriguez will be the wide receivers coach for the Bulldogs in 2026. “Tristin has familiarity with the program, serving as an exceptional student coach for us for three years,” Nourse said. “He has a strong desire to make college football coaching his profession. Tristin has a ton of energy, a strong work ethic, and a football coaches mind. We are excited to have him on board in a much larger role as our wide receivers coach.” Rodriguez has been a student coach for the Bulldogs over the past three seasons. He served as a running backs coach in that time. Prior to joining the coaching staff, he played baseball at Dawson Community College for two seasons. Rodriguez graduated from Western in May with a degree in modern history and systems of thought.
