The Beavers score a season-high 196.375 to defeat Sacramento State.
Oregon State gymnastics made its 2026 home debut Friday night a winning one, scoring a season-high 196.375 points to handily beat Sacramento State at Gill Coliseum.
Sophia Esposito led the way with an all-around score of 39.5. Among Esposito’s top performances was a 9.925 on floor exercise and a 9.9 on uneven bars. Esposito won both events.
Oregon State’s Kyanna Crabb claimed vault with a score of 9.875, while Olivia Buckner took balance beam, scoring 9.875.
Sacramento State scored 193.675. It was the first win of the season for Oregon State (1-4).
The meet was also the home debut for Oregon State student assistant coach Jade Carey, who completed her decorated Beavers gymnastics career in 2025.
The Beavers return to action Sunday, January 25 against Utah State at Gill Coliseum.
