The Beavers are down two more playmakers in the trenches.
Oregon State football is down another two defensive starters as the transfer portal window officially opens Friday.
Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Thomas Collins and redshirt junior edge rusher Kai Wallin are both entering the portal. They are the 22nd and 23rd player from OSU’s 2025 team to enter so far as new head coach JaMarcus Shephard remakes the roster.
Collins — originally hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden — joined OSU prior to the 2023 season. He played and started in all 12 games for the Beavers in 2025, amassing 30 tackles including 4.5 for loss, half a sack, six quarterback hurries and two passes broken up.
Wallin transferred to OSU prior to the 2025 season from Nebraska. He played in nine games and started seven for the Beavers in 2025, recording 17 tackles including two for loss, one sack, and four quarterback hurries. Injuries kept him limited for a portion of the season as the Beavers struggled to rush the passer throughout their 2025 campaign.
