Oregon State football has its first official commitment in the 2026 transfer portal.
Central Michigan tight end DeCorion Temple announced his commitment to the Beavers on Monday. Temple also played basketball for the Chippewas, but it is unclear whether he will pursue that at OSU.
At 6-5, 245 pounds, the redshirt junior tight end has one season of eligibility remaining with the Beavers. He fills a need for new OSU coach JaMarcus Shephard after the graduation of starting tight end Bryce Caufield and departure of former Central Catholic star Riley Williams in the portal.
Coming out of high school in Orchard Lake, Michigan, the towering Temple was a three-star prospect according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He was rated the No. 112 tight end in the country and No. 54 overall player in Michigan.
Temple spent his entire collegiate career at Central Michigan before entering the transfer portal on Dec. 27. Appearing in all 13 games for CMU in 2025, he caught 17 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
