The Beavers and Ducks play the finale of their three-game weekend series at PK Park in Eugene.

The No. 3 Oregon State Beavers visit the No. 13 Oregon Ducks on Sunday in a college baseball matchup at PK Park in Eugene.

First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m.

It’s the finale of a three-game weekend rivalry series and the Ducks are seeking a sweep. After winning a well-played opener 4-2 on Friday night, Oregon embarrassed the Beavers 13-1 on Saturday, blasting its way to its most lopsided rivalry win since resurrecting the baseball program in 2009.

A win today would give the Ducks their first weekend sweep over Oregon State since 2021.

Probable starters: OSU LHP Ethan Kleinschmit (6-1, 3.74) vs. RHP Jason Reitz (1-0, 4.33)

This and that: Kleinschmit is making his 11th start of the season and first of his career against the Ducks. The 6-foot-3 sophomore is coming off one of his worst outings — he allowed four runs and seven hits in a four-inning no-decision at Cal State Northridge — but has won five of his last seven starts. … The Ducks have blasted six home runs in the series and now have 79 this season. … Center fielder Mason Neville has hit two in the series, giving him 21 this season — the most in college baseball. The 6-3 junior has eight homers over the last 11 games. … The Beavers are looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season. … Aiva Arquette saw his 13-game hitting streak end Saturday night, when he finished 0 for 2 with a walk. … Wilson Weber, who went 1 for 2 on Saturday, now owns the longest OSU hitting streak at seven games. He is 15 for 31 (.484) during the stretch. … Reitz is making his seventh start of the season. The 6-11 junior transfer from Saint Mary’s earned his only win at Maryland on April 13, when he allowed three runs, five hits and recorded 11 strikeouts in seven innings.
