Oregon State running back Damien Martinez is unlikely to play in the Sun Bowl against Notre Dame on Dec. 29, though interim coach Kefense Hynson stopped short of ruling him out.

Martinez was suspended on Nov. 30 after he was arrested following a traffic stop by Corvallis police for suspicion of DUII. Martinez was reinstated last Friday when Benton County District Attorney’s office declined to file the DUII charge.
