Oregon State’s Tyjon Lindsey signed by Seattle as undrafted NFL free agent

Oregon State receiver Tyjon Lindsey has accepted an undrafted NFL free agent offer from the Seattle Seahawks, according to multiple media reports.

The 5-foot-8, 171-pound Lindsey is the latest Beaver from the 2022 roster to find an NFL home. Luke Musgrave (Green Bay) and Alex Austin (Buffalo) were selected during the seven-round NFL draft.

Terms of Lindsey’s deal were unknown.

Lindsey is the third Oregon State player in two years to sign an undrafted free agent deal with Seattle. Last year, cornerback Elijah Jones and linebacker Avery Roberts landed with the Seahawks.

Lindsey played five years at Oregon State after transferring from Nebraska in 2018. Lindsey’s 40-game OSU resume included 13 starts. For his career, Lindsey caught 75 passes for 917 yards and nine touchdowns. He also ran 25 times for 184 yards and three scores.
