Oregon State’s Rejzohn Wright is headed for Carolina after the Panthers signed the senior cornerback as an undrafted NFL free agent Saturday.
The 6-foot-2, 193-pound Wright announced the signing on social media. Wright was hopeful to join Oregon State’s Luke Musgrave (Green Bay) and Alex Austin (Buffalo) as draft picks, but instead heads to the NFL as an undrafted free agent.
Wright is looking to join his brother Nahshon in the NFL. Nahshon, who played for Oregon State, was a 2021 third round pick by Dallas.
Wright played 30 games over three years at Oregon State after transferring from Laney College. A starter in 24 games, Wright made 92 tackles and had four interceptions at OSU. Last season, Wright had 38 tackles and two interceptions on the way to first-team all-conference honors.
