The Beavers and Utes play the rubber match of a three-game series Sunday at Goss Stadium in Corvallis.
The 15th-ranked Oregon State Beavers host the Utah Utes Sunday in the finale of a three-game Pac-12 baseball series at Goss Stadium.
After dropping Friday’s opener, the Beavers evened the series with a 6-5 victory, using two big swings and a big bullpen effort by bulldog reliever Ben Ferrer to earn their 14th win in the last 17 games.
A win Sunday would give Oregon State its sixth series win in Pac-12 play and — depending on how games unfold across the West Coast — inch them into a tie for second place in the conference. The Beavers entered the day sitting in fourth place, one-half game behind third-place Oregon and one game behind second-place Arizona State.
