Canadian Football Hall of Famers Lui Passaglia, Dave Cutler and Doug Brown are among 11 football-only members of the Simon Fraser University Sports Hall of Fame who are demanding they be removed from the shrine over the school’s decision to cease its football program.

Eleven legendary former SFU football players are taking a stand, led by former BC Lions kicker Lui Passaglia.

Canadian Football Hall of Famers Lui Passaglia, Dave Cutler and Doug Brown are among 11 football-only members of the Simon Fraser University Sports Hall of Fame who are demanding they be removed from the shrine over the school’s decision to cease its football program.

They have all demanded the removal of their names from the university’s sports hall of fame as an act of solidarity.

The Simon Fraser University Football Alumni Society (SFUFAS) held a successful pledge drive on Tuesday, raising over $700,000 to help reinstate the school’s recently-eliminated football program.
